I sat down with Ken on I Need To F***ing Talk To You (yes, that's the real name) to talk about a conversation I don't usually tell in mixed company.
Four founding partners. One session. By the end of it, two of them had to hear something most people never separate: you can be a partner in the business and still be the wrong fit for the role you're playing in it.
That's a different conversation than "you're fired." In some ways it's harder. It asks people to stay invested in what they built while stepping out of a seat that isn't working, for them or for the business.
We get into what led to that moment, what it sounded like in the room, and what changed for all four partners once the roles finally matched the people.
